Ideas for the future of Novello Kristinestad

The meeting of Novello Kristinestad has been a productive moment of reflection about the future of the two cities in the following sectors:

• Art
• Labour - opportunities for young people
• Tourism

What follow is a list of ideas which the stakeholder proposed during the workshop:

Art

• Residenze d'Artista / Artists Residences Exchanges
• Art Trips: artisti finlandesi e italiani si incontrano nei rispettivi paesi / artists go to Italy to paint and vice-versa

Labour

• Politiche legate al cibo (agricoltura, caccia, tartufi), scambi tra cuochi / agriculture, hunt, truffles, chefs making food
• Barbabuc: Accoglierebbe una persona in stage sul tema del servizio in sala e ospitalità (maggio/settembre) / could host one person in internship on the subject of food serving + accomodation (from may to september)
• Raccolta di patate e vino / Potato and wine harvest
• Corsi di Lingua / Language courses
• Scambio di esperienze nel campo della tutela e promozione dell'ambiente / Exchanges of esperiences in the field of environmental protection
• Formazione per la gestione delle attività all'aria aperta / Outdoor training

Tourism

• Ambiente, Vecchie Case, Chiese / Environment, Old Houses, Churches
• Hotel Ristorante Barbabuc: Sconti Speciali per Eventi, Anniversari, Ricorrenze + Link Internet / Special Discounts for events (Anniversaries, Wedding, etc) + Internet Links
• Kristinestad: Il mare è bello, unico tutto l'anno, anche in inverno quando il mare è giacciato. In primavera ci sono uccelli migratori. In estate si può andare in barca / The seaside is unique and beautifull in all seasons: in winter, when the water is iced, in springe when the birds migrate from south to north, in summer when boating is important.
• Novello: Imparare dal vostro stile di vita, stressarsi di meno. Visitare colline e cantine. / We could learn to stress less from your lifestyle. Visiting Wineyards and Hills is of great interest.
• Turismo all'aria aperta / Outdoor Tourism
• Finlandia: Pesca, natura, mare / Fishing, nature, sea
• Novello: have tourist participate in the harvesting
• Barbabuc: potrebbe creare un menu in finlandese o svedese / We could create a menu in finnish or swedish
• Viaggi di nozze / Wedding Trips
• Creazione di strutture di accoglienza per giovani (16/30 anni) / Creation of structures for young people travelling (16/30 years old)
